This book is primarily done to address the issue of how to expand the movement of capital both internally and externally in the EU STOCK EXCHANGES. The raising of capital in European Union is well explored keeping all the legal framework in mind. This is of great importance because of the growing economic prowess of EU and the need of capital by developing countries. This study is progressed by analyzing the rules governing incorporation and raising of capital within the EU by companies registered within and outside the EU. It is done keeping in view the existing framework of treaty provisions and regulations and directives. Thereafter a comparison and evaluation of the rules of the major Stock Exchanges[e.g. London stock exchange, Euronext, Deutsche Börse and Luxembourg stock exchange].Then an attempt has been made to understand the harmonization process done in the EU over decades to provide an environment of free movement of capital . The next step to the study is the analysis of companies from outside the EU which have registered with and raised capital on stock exchanges in the EU and seek to identify reasons for the limited number of these companies e.g. fear of money laundering.
