Popis knihy:

If you are one of the millions who have a handgun for self defense, AIMED Point Shooting or P&S may be your key to survival in a real life threat situation. P&S is a natural method of AIMED Point Shooting which is fast, automatic, and accurate. And it can be used in good light or bad, and even when moving. It is simple, reliable, easy to use, and it also can be learned with little or no training. What it is and how to use it, and its development and testing, plus facts, data, pictures, and science based information that support its use, are detailed in this book. YOU ALSO WILL FIND INFORMATION ON OTHER POINT SHOOTING METHODS SUCH AS: PISTOL QK, RIFLE QK, THE C.A.R. METHOD OF GUN FIGHTING, AND TARGET FOCUS FIGHTING. THE FBI PAPERS ON HANDGUN WOUNDING FACTORS AND THE 10mm ARE A PLUS. All of the information flows from the originators, or their original papers or training documents, some of which are not available to the general public. Some of the material is controversial, as it presents the hard and troublesome facts about what really happens in close quarters life threat situations. You will find no bull, bravado, hot air, or chest beating. Facts, science, and data rule. For example, one of the Chapters discloses a fatal flaw of the highly popular ""1911"" 45 caliber pistol. P&S requires no special grip, stance, indexing, breathing, special positioning of the arms, hands, or thumbs. Nor does it require you to go thru the proper sight alignment steps, or to smoothly squeeze and then reset the trigger, etc. And it can be used along with and to enhance Sight Shooting, as well as most other Point Shooting methods. P&S is not new, but it is not well known in the shooting community. That is changing over time due to the author's web site, and along with the acceptance of the use of Point Shooting for close quarters encounters. Hits on the author's web site, www.pointshooting.com, have been increasing ever since its launch. In 2006, they totaled 1,374,175, and in 2007 they totaled 1,671,568. That attests to interest in the subject matter, and particularly so, since the site content is mainly text. Short videos of P&S being used can be found there, along with information in this publication, plus the Seattle PD's report on the use of Tasers. As to using P&S in close quarters life threat situations, the US Army recommends using Point Shooting at less than 15 feet, and at night. Also and according to the NYPD's study of thousands of police combat cases, most occurred at less than 20 feet. The author believes that since AIMED Point Shooting or P&S, is the simplest of shooting methods, it is the most likely method to be employed successfully in them. But that will not happen by magic. First one must learn what it is, and how to use it. .......... This book was first published in January 2007. A publishing date is added automatically when the book is uploaded to the web. As such, a later publishing date will indicate an updated/revised version.
